• Liposomal Retinal (0.1% pure retinal): The star active is retinaldehyde, a powerful retinoid, encapsulated in a proprietary multi-lamellar liposome (the MLV10 system). USAGE

• Evening Application: This serum is designed for nighttime use. After cleansing and toning (if applicable) in the evening, apply Retinal Infusion MLV10 Serum to dry skin. Dispense a small amount (approximately a pea-sized quantity or 1-2 pumps) and gently spread it over the face and neck, avoiding direct contact with the eyes and lips.
• Frequency: If new to retinaldehyde or retinoids, start by using the serum 1-2 times per week (e.g. every other night) to allow your skin to acclimate. Gradually increase usage to nightly as tolerated. Users with prior retinoid experience may start with more frequent application, but monitoring skin response is important.
• Layering: Allow the serum to absorb for a minute or two. Follow with a moisturizer to lock in hydration and further minimize any potential dryness (barrier-focused moisturizers such as Vitamin B Activated All-In-One Concentrate or Concentrated Revitalizing Lifting Mask pair well, especially in the first few weeks of use). Avoid applying other potent actives (such as AHAs/BHAs or other retinoids) in the same routine as this serum, as the formulation is already high-strength. Instead, 
  those can be used on alternate nights if needed.
• Sun Protection: In the morning, apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) as part of your routine. Retinal (like all retinoids) can increase the skin’s sensitivity to the sun, so diligent daily sun protection is critical to maintain results and prevent UV-induced damage. (This is especially important given the serum’s resurfacing action; new skin is more fragile to UV.)

SAFETY & CAUTION

• Sun Sensitivity: This product contains a retinoid (retinaldehyde) which can increase skin’s sensitivity to UV light. Apply sunscreen every morning (and reapply throughout the day) and minimize direct sun exposure while using the serum. Tanning beds are not recommended.
• Gradual Introduction: Introduce the serum gradually into your routine (as noted above). Mild redness, dryness, or flaking can occur initially – these are normal signs of retinoid activity.
